About You
To become a My Care Solution Caregiver, you must:
Have a Certificate lll or lV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services
Have a can do attitude and a passion for looking after others
Have a strong command of English and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be willing to work approximately 15 hours a week
Have an unrestricted Australian driver's licence and your own vehicle with comprehensive insurance (and be willing to use it to transport clients)
Live in or around Metropolitan Adelaide, Morphett Vale or Victor Harbor
Have a valid Police Check (no older than 6 months)
Have received at least two doses of a TGA approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine as per state legislative requirements
Have a current First Aid Certificate
Have a smart phone with internet access
What You’ll Be Doing
Being a Caregiver at My Care Solution is all about helping older people enjoy living at home, maintain their independence and strengthen their community connections. To make sure our clients keep getting the most out of life, you’ll help with daily tasks that include:
Personal care: helping with things like dressing, showering and grooming
Light domestic duties: vacuuming, mopping, and laundry
Assistance with medication
Social support
Running errands: grocery shopping, medication collection
Assisted transport
Overnight care
Specialist in-home care: dementia care
