About You
Don’t have a Certificate III in Individual Support? That’s ok! If you have the right personal qualities, we want you on our team. We’ll support you through our innovative Pathway to Caregiving Program to give you all the skills and knowledge you need.
To become a My Care Solution Caregiver, you must:
Have a can do attitude and a passion for looking after others
Have a strong command of English and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be willing to work at least 15 hours per week
Have an unrestricted driver's licence and your own vehicle
Live in or around Metropolitan Adelaide, Morphett Vale or Victor Harbor
Have, or be willing to get, a Police Check
Have received at least three doses of a TGA approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine as per state legislative requirements
What You’ll Be Doing
Being a caregiver at My Care Solution is all about helping older people enjoy living at home, maintain their independence and strengthen their community connections. To make sure our clients keep getting the most out of life, you’ll help with daily tasks that include:
Personal care: helping with things like dressing, showering and grooming
Light domestic duties: vacuuming, mopping, and laundry
Assistance with medication
Social support
Running errands: grocery shopping, medication collection
Assisted transport
Overnight care
Specialist in-home care: dementia care
