On May 23rd we officially opened a brand new My Care Solution Office in Elizabeth South.
A handful of staff and clients celebrated with us on the day, enjoying a selection of nibbles and drinks as they toured the new location and mingled with their My Care Solution associates.
Jointly occupied by sister organisation in the NDIS space My Care Planner, the opening of the new office will allow My Care Solution to cater to increased client demand throughout the Gawler and Barossa region.
There will also be many opportunities for people searching for work within the aged care industry living in these northern areas to join our ever-growing team.
My Care Solution’s Executive Director, Mark McBriarty officially opened the new office. Within his speech Mark spoke of selecting the space stating,
“you’ll see there’s nothing flashy about any of our offices, we believe in high quality care with low overheads, we don’t need massive big offices.”
He then went on to describe the importance of the location.
“Whilst we’ve served this area for many years, we recognize the importance of having a local presence to attract clients but most especially to draw on the local population for employment.”
“Our greatest challenge at the moment is unique, it’s not finding clients, we’ve got a waiting list down south. It’s about finding the right people, caregivers with a heart and soul to compassionately care for our local community.”
“We will continue to provide opportunities for older Australians to embark on their ‘farewell career’….the average age of our workforce is 56, which we’re very proud of.”
Member for Elizabeth, Lee Oldenwalder, joined us on the day, and had some kind things to say about My Care Solution.
“I want to commend (My Care Solution) on being not just an employer, but an employer with ethics, an employer that we need in Elizabeth providing these sorts of services.”
“I think you’re very lucky to be involved in this organization and I wish you all the best for the future.” Lee then directed toward the My Care Solution staff.”
